Living Your Portfolio
Why don’t people pursue what they truly love? It may be fear of failure. It may be that others would view these ideas as unrealistic. Or, it may be that they have never connected with their deeper, inner self to discover the things that they love and are really good at. In the first published novel by Sinclair Lewis, Babbitt expresses the heart of the problem: “I’ve never done what I wanted to do all my life.” The session focuses on the development of a personal portfolio. A portfolio is not the same as a resume. A portfolio defines who you are, what you are really good at, and what you most enjoy doing. The result is a personal portfolio that you carry with you wherever you go, whether you work for yourself or for others.
