ABOUT
Don (surrounded by his family, left) has provided services to corporations, foundations, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. His application of strategic thinking to organizational change, and the effective use of process facilitation have resulted in many successful efforts.
In his work with organizations, Don has demonstrated an ability to work effectively with senior management and boards of directors in areas of visioning, strategic planning, organizational development, and assessment. During a twenty-year period, Don worked with leaders of more than one hundred Minnesota corporations. He has organized and facilitated numerous executive seminars and conferences in areas of corporate responsibility, emerging trends, and social change.
After serving in the Marine Corps, Don attended Iowa State University in Ames (agricultural engineering), Luther College in Decorah, Iowa (mathematics and science), and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota (theology). He has degrees in mathematics/science and theology.
Don is listed in the Millennium Edition of the World Future Society Futurist Directory; special guest to the 1965 Kirchentag, Cologne, Germany; member of the Minnesota China Seminar which toured the People’s Republic in 1976; author of Celebrate the Earth, Augsburg Publishing; and contributor, Urban Problems and Techniques, edited by T. Milton Nelson, Chandler-Davis Publishing.
